School House Magazine, in partnership with ISEB, has officially announced the shortlist for the 2023 School House Awards.
The School House Awards were introduced in 2022, and have this year expanded dramatically, gaining sponsorship from the Independent Schools Examinations Board and opening submissions to a wider variety of categories, all designed to celebrate the work of independent schools, staff and pupils across the country.
The shortlist candidates for each category are as follows:
Pastoral Care Champion – Bassett House, London; Sherborne Girls, Dorset and Reigate Grammar, Surrey
Mind & Mental Health Champion – Pembridge Hall School, London; Putney High School GDST, London and Bryanston School, Dorset
Sustainability Champion – Truro School, Cornwall; James Allen’s Girls School, London and Royal Hospital School, Suffolk
Local Partnership & Community Champion – Wellington School, Somerset; ACS, Cobham, Surrey and Canford School, Dorset
Animal Support Champion – Saint Ronan’s, Kent; Repton, Derbyshire and The Elms School, Herefordshire
Charity Champion – Millfield School, Somerset; Claremont Fan Court School, Surrey and Stonyhurst College, Lancashire
Kindness Champion – Godolphin Senior, Wiltshire; Saint Ronan’s, Kent and Casterton, Sedbergh Preparatory School, Cumbria
